Well, not really, I just seem to have a hard time remembering to do it! Good thing I don't get paid for the number of posts I create.
It's been almost two months since Alicia left for college and everything seems to be going ok so far. She had to buy a new laptop and managed to get it ordered and delivered to her dorm with only a little help from Dad but other than that, she isn't complaining, so I guess it must be alright. Families weekend is coming up at the end of October so we will see her then - can't wait!
Zoey and Noah seem to be adjusting to life with one less sibling at home just fine. Zoey is super busy with swim team and her little babysitting business is growing slowly but surely. She really enjoys having her own money and likes using her new debit card to order clothes from Forever 21 online.
Noah continues to live the laid-back gamer lifestyle - no sports for this kid these days - just P.E. at school which he says is plenty of exercise. His hair is LOOONG but I actually don't mind it too much - kind of suits him so I have stopped asking him to get a "buzz" cut.
John is recovering nicely from his gall bladder removal and is definitely enjoying the freedom to eat pretty much anything he wants without worrying about having a really bad tummy ache after.
Me, I am still scrapbooking a little and have started crocheting - it's easier than I thought. I have developed a new addiction to Pinterest - if you haven't seen it yet, you should check it out. Etsy continues to be a favorite place to spend money too. I also got a part-time job! It's a substitute pre-school teacher position so I have a lot of flexibility which suits me fine.
Whew, think that catches us up for now - maybe it won't take me two months to write again.
